Claim against Paypal:
Impossible Missión
I bet that most of you have never had to think about claiming companies like Paypal, Google or Facebook, but I assure you that those of us who have spent time in the online arena (making money online, etc), sooner or later will have to face the s need to claim against one of these great ones. Examples such as having an Adsense account on Google or YouTube, cutting it off without prior notice or any right or having the facebook suspended because you are using some type of automatic publisher that posts in hundreds of groups a day or simply because it has detected that you have connected from an “incompatible IP”, and finally, what we are going to talk about today when Paypal blocks all the money in your business because there is something they did not like …: mad:
These cases will, depending on the business, suppose significant losses, in addition to the final damage to the reputation of the business or its complete failure; In fact I have known some, both from the affiliate perspective, as other from of lawyer point of view of the company whose client were the accounts blocked or what is the same: blocking the business, since they can not pay users and suppliers because they cannot withdraw the money. The risk of working with Paypal without distributing your profits in other places, such as other bank accounts, can mean that before a blockade you cannot raise your head. So if you are thinking of being a Merchant in Paypal with this warning in mind, this article is worthwhile.
Claim as a consumer who has been damaged by a Pay Pal trader / merchant
Before talking about the issue of business blocked by PayPal, the most common case is that the consumer is cheated or defrauded in the purchase. For example, a website that accepts PayPal when buying some sneakers. It happens that either the shoes were not what we expected or, do not arrive. At this point, Paypal acts as an intermediary and you can file a claim against the company that sold you the shoes within your profile on the Paypal website.
Before making the formal claim, Paypal gives you the possibility to contact the seller directly. For this you must go to the particular transaction that you are going to claim, enter inside it:
At the end of the screen you will see the following link that you must click:
Then you can report any problem by choosing one of the following 3 options:
From here Paypal will mark the steps as long as the seller does not solve it before. Obviously, the sellers are not interested in bad publicity, but this does not mean that the user always wins. In the network there are opinions of all kinds, sometimes you get your money back and sometimes you do not. What comes next is to claim outside of Paypal (to the Courts or administrative bodies for example) both this company and the seller in the corresponding case. To the lawyers, when we are presented with these cases we always have to study which is the applicable Jurisdiction and some countries are harder than others. The United Kingdom is, for what could be more interesting, to claim administratively there. (see directions in the images below).
If you go to claim in Spain, you may be interested in Paypal’s address in Spain.
Investigating on the internet, I ran into someone quite pissed off with Paypal who has a website called screwpaypal (screw means fuck …) that has very interesting information about it but it is English.
A Paypal phone in Spain is 900 828 219 and another one from outside +353 1 436 9708
Paypal fax 902 885 154.
In this issue of the Paypal blockages , there are many more people pissed off than you think and if not, look at the Paypal Community
